Walker River Resort is a scenic resort in the high desert region on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Resort is committed to providing hospitality, lodging, and recreation of the highest quality to visitors and guests. Accommodations are available year round. Bird Hunting is available October to February.
Reservation Policy: Cottage/RV reservations are made to best accommodate the size and needs of your party. A 50% deposit is required by either credit card at the time of reservation or within 7 business days by check. Once the 50% deposit has been secured, a confirmation letter is sent confirming your reservation. It is incumbent up the guest to make any cancellations or changes in the appropriate time frame. Sorry, no single occupancy rates available for the cottages. Prices are subject to change without notice and are subject to a 6% Lyon County room and RV tax.
Cancellation Policy: We will be happy to refund your deposit, less a $20.00 service charge per cottage booked or a $10.00 service charge per RV site booked, if we are notified prior to two weeks in advance of any cancellation or change in reservation; 30 day notification required on all holiday/special events and group reservations. Shorter notice will result in the cottage/RV rate being charged for the entire visit, if not fully re-rented. Cancellations due to weather and/or road closures are not refundable.
Extra Person Rates: Double occupancy rates are subject to a $10.00 increase per night for each additional person, up to six people. An extra person charge of $15.00 per night will be added for additional persons beyond the stated cottage size (6).
Pet Policy: Sorry, no pets are allowed in the cottages. Pets are allowed in the RV sites of the Resort. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are not allowed on any of the lawn areas. Pet owners are required to clean up after their animals.
RV Sites: Sites may be reserved by Walker River Resort Members by telephone. No advance deposit required. General Public guests may reserve sites following the Reservation procedure described above. RV sites are subject to the cancellation policy above. Sites may be limited to “Member’s usage only” under certain circumstances, please check with the office.
