Spring 2008

     Walker River Resort will begin turning on the water to the RV sites in April, as well as, opening the bathhouse.  We hope all of you had a great winter and are looking forward to a fun-filled camping season.

     Please visit the website's Sporting Clays page in order to see the shoot dates for 2008.  Mark your calendars, clean your shotguns, and get ready for a great shoot year!  The Mountain Blast-Valley Blow-out Shoot was March 15, 2008.  What a great shoot with Carson Valley Clays!  Thank you to all shooters who participated.  Steve White won High Overall with a combined score of 184 out of 200.

     In addition, the Carson Valley Chukar Club shot the White Course on April 5, 2008.  Jack Smith won High Overall with a score of 83.  Nicely done Jack!  Thanks again.  We appreciate your support.  We will look forward to seeing all of you throughout the year. 

     On May 30th, Driving Blind will be performing at the Resort.  They are an excellent band and we are looking forward to live rock and roll!  Please make your reservations early if you would like to join us for the last weekend in May.

      The Resort’s main hosting season begins April 1^st and ends October 31^st.  During those 214 days, we hope to see many of you.  Walker River Resort is meant to be enjoyed and we enjoy having our guests visit.  Your suggestions and ideas are also appreciated.  We hope that in the past 25 years, Walker River Resort has become a special and unique place to visit and that our guests will continue building fond memories of their time spent here.
